The Saga of Carolina is conceived as a sequence of interconnected historical novels set during the colony’s first century. Each volume stands on its own while widening the same world: African kingdoms, Indigenous nations, European empires, coastal settlements, privateers, physicians, traders, and people fighting to remain human inside systems built to use them.

The result is not a museum-piece past. It is a dramatic, morally complicated story about how Carolina was made—and how its earliest choices continue to echo.
